About Us
The Placement Committee at Ashoka University is a student-led body working under the Career Development Office to connect students with meaningful professional opportunities. With a strong focus on quality, consistency, and integrity, the Committee manages recruiter engagement, coordinates hiring processes, and builds long-term relationships with leading organisations across consulting, finance, technology, public policy, media, development, healthcare, and startups.
Beyond facilitating placements and internships, the Committee prepares students for the professional world through CV reviews, personalised mentoring, mock interviews, resume workshops, group discussions, domain-specific training, and industry resources. Through inclusive outreach and continuous improvement, it works to align student aspirations with evolving organisational expectations and help Ashokans transition confidently into their careers.
What We Do
Campus Placements
We work closely with recruiters, students, and the Career Development Office to coordinate end-to-end placement processes across consulting, finance, technology, development, and beyond. From recruitment cycles and employer engagement to placement coordination, we help create a seamless experience for both students and organisations.
Internships & Career Resources
We equip students with the tools and confidence to navigate every stage of the recruitment journey. By analysing past data to curate resources that provide actionable insights, proven pathways of successfully placed students, industry insights and market trends. Additionally through resume reviews, mock interviews, SOP guidance, office hours, and skill-building workshops, we provide practical support tailored to students across academic backgrounds and career interests.
Industry Connects
We build meaningful connections between the Ashoka community and the professional world. Through curated speaker sessions, panel discussions, networking opportunities, engagements with alumni and industry leaders and the PlaceCom podcast we bring diverse perspectives and real-world insights to campus.
Verification & Documentation
We streamline the administrative processes that support students throughout recruitment and placement. From offer letter verification and degree attestations to profile checks and other essential documentation, we ensure that every step is handled accurately and efficiently.
